Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) AFF is an advanced progression method designed to teach you freefall skills as well as parachute control from the first jump. The program consists of seven levels of increasing complexity, designed to teach you the building blocks of skydiving. Completion of this program puts you well on your way toward earning your A License. Static Line Static line is the original, best known method of learning to skydive, where the parachute is deployed by a tether attached to the airplane. After a minimum of 5 static line jumps, you can proceed to deploying your own parachute and discovering the joys of freefall. This progression begins the basic licensing program.
